My name is Diane. I am a Navy wife and proud mother to the most amazing little boy. I grew up in Nebraska and married my high school sweetheart, "J" when we were 19. Hard to believe we are coming up on our 13th wedding anniversary! My husband is a submarine in the U.S. Navy, and I've been with him every step of the way. Our journey has taken us from Nebraska to S. Carolina, to Connecticut and Hawaii, and back to Connecticut. J has served on 5 deployments and has fought in both Iraq and Libya. He's traveled the world from Europe to Asia. I love this man with all of my heart and I am forever proud of him for all the sacrifices he has made to keep our family and our country safe.
My little boy "C" is 2, and he is simply wonderful. C is our miracle baby. We struggled for years with infertility, so it was nothing short of amazing the day he joined our lives. There are no words to really describe how we felt that day. C is... laughter and giggles, spirited and smart. He is rough and tumble and filled with curiosity. I am simply amazed at how he melts my heart every single day.
